Sunset Inn

it's a small town inn. one person running the place probably barely making ends meet. the bed was comfortable the bathroom clean. before you go and leave a bad review because its not perfect. be thankful you had a place to stay. cause I bet sleeping in your car in 100° would have been worse. I'm disabled on crutches and didn't have any issues other than stepping on a now dead bug but I had my shoe's on so I'm not complaining.

I am writing this review some three years after I stayed at the Sunset Inn so take it for what it's worth. September 2011 was as earlier as I could select. I'm not sure Tripadvisor will accept this review after so long.||||Unless this is a different Sunset Inn (I doubt it) you might want to look elswhere. If dirt cheap is your ONLY criteria, this is your place. I think the room with two beds was $40 or less at the time. The room was dirty, smelly, with mold and mildew present, insects and spiders present, and there was some suspect wiring present. I only remember because this place left such an impression on me. I wanted to star gaze but the lady said can't go in the room with a giant hole in the roof I was very disappointed not to mention the room was very black and black is my favorite color! 😁 but she said, "me no put you in room with hole in roof" I'm very disappointed 0 star! I made friend with roaches we played blackjack

We were displaced due to the hurricane the people here were very unfriendly and charged us extra. The rooms were awful. Doors did not close completely and wood was peeling,the bathroom smelled of urine, there was roaches and cigarettes burns in the bed spread and all over the side of tub. The towels were also stained and the water tasted awful Then after over charging us made an issue about our service dog. Wanted to charge us 20 more dollars after we were packed and leaving. We were worried about if we had a house or not and she was screaming at us about 20 dollars.

Very nasty. Cigarette burn Holes in pillows & bedsheets. Couldn’t take a shower because the shower was very nasty and brown. Manager wouldn’t bring bleach For several attempts. DO NOT COME HERE UNLESS YOU WANNA ITCH WHEN YOU LEAVE
