Sunset Bay Vacation Resort— RV Park & Marina

Band played here, but the weather was quite chilly and damp for a late May night. Some enthusiastic folks showed up and we had fun. Our POC Brian was pleasant and happy to help, and we hope to be back playing again soon when it's warmer.

During my visit to Sunset Bay Vacation Resort 2 years ago I decided to buy a camp of my own here. Weekends are packed with excitement for the kids and adults with fishing tournaments, horseshoes, boating, kayaking, jet skiing and swimming at the beach of the Great Sacandaga Lake. At night there are bands and DJ's, and family like gatherings around campfires with the new friends I continue to meet every week. During the week my kids want to be here too, and some people prefer the less hectic atmosphere Monday-Thursday. I have been to a lot of different "camps"..... and this one is by far the best I've found! Only an hour from Albany to this amazing resort in the Adirondack Mountains!

Owners are rude , prices go up yearly . Many other places on the lake for much cheaper . Same bands over and over . Favoritism between owners and some renters, Rules only apply to people that they want them to. Campers are very close to each other. I had a camper threat in my life last year. The owners wouldn’t tell me their name so I can contact police.

It's the best! Everyone so friendly. Campers, staff, workers. Lots of events for everyone to enjoy. Dock space is great and protected by its beautiful bay. Come join the family and wonderful campers and staff!
