Sunrise Point at Cedar Creek Lake

I booked a last minute trip just a few hours before arrival, and she was very accommodating. Everything was perfect. It was very clean, the view was beautiful, it was peaceful, the bed was comfortable, and the attention put into the small details made the stay that much better. While sitting outside drinking my coffee in the mornings, the ducks would come to shore and I would feed them. I’ll definitely be back when I need another peaceful getaway!

If you’re dreaming of an outdoor wedding that feels like a retreat, Sunrise Point is it.  The peninsula offered panoramic lake views, beautiful trees, and lush green grass. After the ceremony, sunset reflecting off the water was magical while our guests enjoyed cocktails and yard games by the pool. The team was amazing and took great care of our guests. One of the BEST features was that we got to spend the weekend on‑site in the cottages, allowing us to spend the weekend with out-of-town family and friends. It truly felt like our own little piece of paradise. Special shoutout to Casey — she was incredibly kind, accommodating, and helpful!! <3

I’ve stayed at Sunrise a few times now and it was the most amazing experience each time. My visits were very peaceful giving my body and mind exactly what was needed. The view was amazing, and the wildlife was so peaceful to watch. Casey was the absolute best host making sure everything was perfect and she made herself available the entire time. Because of her constant hard work and dedication Sunrise will be my absolute go to for my soul resets. Thank you Casey for all you do.

The Cottages and the Venue is the best on Cedar Creek Lake. The serene setting on a private peninsula with abundant wildlife, an occasional bald eagle, beautiful grounds and I could go on and on about the amenities. It also a beautiful setting for your wedding. Casey is the general manager and she is top notch and will make your stay a dream. Try them out.

My husband and I had an amazing weekend getaway with the most breathtaking views and wildlife. The swing on the dock was definitely my favorite place to start my morning with my coffee, book, and blanket. My husband came to join me and found his happy place fishing. We will definitely be back and we’re sure to tell everybody about this amazing slice of heaven!
