Sunny Beach RV Resort

My Husband and I, and our dog Luke, are traveling the country in our RV and we spent over a month at Sunny Beach. Our time there was amazing. The owners, Eric and Amy, are awesome people who made us feel right at home. It is a beautiful and peaceful place to stay. By the end of our trip, not only did we have great memories, but we also left with some great new friends. We will definitely be back in the future!

I had an incredible stay at sunny Beach RV Resort on Lake of the Ozarks, and I can’t say enough about the warm and friendly owners who made the experience truly special. From the moment we arrived, they greeted us with genuine smiles and made us feel like part of the family. They took the time to personally show us to our site, offered great tips on local attractions, and even checked in to ensure we had everything we needed. The resort itself is beautiful, with well-maintained grounds, clean facilities, and stunning lake views that make it a perfect getaway. Whether we needed help with a hookup or just wanted to chat about the area, the owners’ kindness and hospitality shone through every interaction. We’re already looking forward to our next visit! Diamond in the rough! If you're looking for quiet, lakeside/lakeview sites, this is your place. All gravel, which is such a plus for lake areas, especially one with a sandy swimming area. Level lots. The owner, Eric, is beyond helpful and loves being part of the camping community. Boats and jet skis are available to rent along with tubes and life jackets. Ruby, the campground dog, is added fun for our kiddos! Good fishing, campfires, lots of wildlife with woodpeckers, eagles, blue herron, deer, etc. Such a pretty, restful place! Mile marker 64 on the lake.

This is a beautiful quiet spot on LOZ! Best on the lake in my opinion! The owner, Eric, went above and beyond customer satisfaction!! Ice bags available for 3$ each and wood available for 5$. Campsite already had a picnic table and a solo stove!! The back in lake front spots are great! The closer you can get towards the lake the better the view!! However- the pull through spot would be AMAZING and worth the extra cost! It has a front facing view of the lake with NO OTHER CAMPERS obstructing your view!! Or even close to you!! I wish I had known that before I got there- next time I am booking that spot!! I will definitely be going here again!!

Great new camp ground. Still adding on and expanding, so has construction around and gravel piles but did not affect us in the slightest. We had also rented a boat slip, but the lake level was down and couldn't use it, so the owner called us a day or two in advance and refunded our money for the slip. Great communication. We came down on a Thursday, several campers here, but no people. 1st person showed up late Friday and never heard them. Still some work to do on grounds but coming along great! Plan to be back.
