Sunland Lodge

Great place! The only bummer for our group was the hot tub was cold on arrival, thankfully we stayed 2 nights so we got to get use out of it. It was just far enough from town to feel secluded but close enough to run to the store or visit town without taking too long. The house was well stocked and the beds were comfy.

Great cabin and it was so well maintained. We were a bit disappointed as mosquitoes were out of hands. We did not go out for river access, volleyball or even grilling BBQs. We had incense going day and night. AC worked great though!

Great cabin with plenty of room for the whole family and friends. Cool evenings in the warm hot tub were great for star gazing. Plus river access for swimming or skipping rocks.

While the home itself is clean and well-appointed, we were dismayed to find out that there was construction going on at the lot next door - construction that started at 7:30 in the morning with loud banging and heavy metal music!! Not the peaceful retreat we had hoped for. Also, someone spent a whole day burning a wood pile while we were there, making it too smoky to use the deck. A real let-down overall.

Quiet, near the creek and railroad tracks. Kids love it
