Sunflower Acres Family Campground

We stayed here for a couple weekends and loved it . So we decided to get a seasonal. We always have a great time here. The owners are very sweet and try to accommodate and find Solutions to pretty much everything. The people are very friendly. They have great entertainment!

My husband and I are traveling up the east coast from Florida and decided to stay here for four nights in our travel trailer. |From booking to the day we left what a great experience. |Our host Mark and his wife were so nice and very accommodating. |What a great campground. Very clean, well maintained sites. The pool was amazing. Bathhouses were very clean and the showers very nice. So many activities for kids and adults. |This was our first time in the area so Mark told us where to go and get good food and some sites that were must see. We had a great time and will definitely stay again on our trip next year.

I stopped here yesterday to buy a golf cart and absolutely fell in love with the owners and the campground. The upgrades that were made there are absolutely beautiful. I am a seasonal owner at a different campground and just stopping there one time I'm already thinking about changing my seasonal site and start staying at this campground. I want to thank them for how sweet they were to us. And how helpful they were. If you have never been here, I really urge you. 2. Look them up and go camping here. You won't be disappointed.

Owners and staff are phenomenal people. Campground is really clean and quiet. Many activities to keep everyone occupied. Beautiful pool area to just sit and relax even if you don't swim. I would have preferred a different site but that's normal for me. We will be returning again.

More of a 3.3 rating. This was our first time to stay at Sunflower acres. Let me preface this with the fact that we are full-time RVers so we stay in hundreds of parks over the past six years. Sunflower is a “camping” campground. Most people who stay here are seasonal and come here for the outdoors and to build a fire. Seriously, these guys have lots of fires. The setting of the campground is very pretty. They have done some nice upgrades, mainly to the pool area. The main reason we have rated this campground a little lower is because of the new sites where we were put. They built out a new area and these sites are very narrow and built on total gravel rocks. With all the land available, they did not make these into real sites. It was tough to park our rig. The campsite is bordered only
