Summit Inn

Positive: Location, Staff friendliness. I went there to run a marathon that started 2 miles south at the tunnel and it was the perfect location. If you go there to run the race, you will need a ride to the start or drive early. The staff was very friendly. Negative: Cleaning service. We stayed three days and somehow our room wasn't cleaned every day. Not sure why. Not a big deal.

I’ll start by saying that this place has potential. I’ve read other reviews stating how this hotel has been here a while, and with some changes in ownership, it’s a shell of what it used to be. I can see that. My complaints: The room was too cold and you do not have control over the thermostat. The blankets are cheap and thin. They offered little warmth. Terrible pillows also. Beds were uncomfortable. Location. Yes, it’s very near the ski slope, but you still have to walk a ways to get there, and in ski boots with all your equipment, it is not an easy task. They really should offer a shuttle to the mountain entrance. The “sauna” and “hot” tub. Laughable. The Sauna is non functional and the hot tub is merely a tub with room temperature water in it. It’s in a room with boarded up win

We were tired and decided to find a place to spend the night on our way home from Seattle. The price was very reasonable and the staff helpful. When we were cold, they provided us a heater.

Mr. Singh was absolutely fantastic and truly made our stay unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, he welcomed us with such genuine warmth and kindness that we immediately felt at home. His hospitality went above and beyond-attentive, thoughtful, and always with a smile. It's rare to meet someone who makes such a meaningful impact on a stay, but Mr. Singh did exactly that. He embodies what outstanding service should be, and he is a true asset to the hotel. We are incredibly grateful for his care and hospitality and would happily return because of him.

TERRIBLE and Heartbreaking! I have been coming to this hotel for almost my whole life and watching it get run down by these CHEAP/LAZY/SCAMMING/DISRESPECTFUL current owners is disgusting! They accept dogs but yet punish you for having one by giving you the WORST rundown room in the hotel when there are literally only 5 cars in the parking lot and I know there were better rooms! The hot tub/sauna area is (was) always so nice and clean and cozy but NOT anymore! The sauna was not on and when turned on it never got hot! The tub was SO dirty, grime built up on the side walls, dirt and sand at bottom and a huge spider floating around! The original owners did a GREAT job, this was a first class hotel and one point!
