Summit Inn

I've been coming here for a few years now during the winter to go snowboarding at the nearby resort. It's a great location and it has the mountain cabin feel that I look for when I go to the mountains and at an unbeatable price.

Positive: The staff was very friendly. The coffee was very good and a nice touch. We appreciated the hot tub after long days at copper mountain. Negative: For the money and location it was excellent.

This old-school hotel exceeded my expectations with its cleanliness and remarkably friendly staff.||The daily maid service is a surprising amenity, while basement hot-tub adds a quirky charm to the setup. ||The highlights? |- Great locations|- Clean rooms|- Complimentary morning coffee is perfectly strong, though I'd recommend skipping the packaged pastries.||Having stayed here and at the big-name hotel across the street, I assure you that tripling your expenses doesn't necessarily mean tripling the enjoyment. ||For friendliness, cleanliness, and comfort, New Summit Inn excels. I'm giving this 3-star hotel an extra star! Would stay here again.

Answering service cant answer a simple question as to why the rate isnt what is advertised. Other hotels are doing the exact same thing. Its $159/ night. Not $105. Don't get swindled by this place.

We called asking about room availability. My sister asked if they were “queen”. The hotel attendant said “no they are dirty” and hung up on us. Needless to say we did not stay here. This happened on August 1, 2025 at 9:30 pm. Would not recommend and definitely recommend someone needs hearing aids and some better people skills. We did get a good laugh at her expense.
