Sugarloaf Key / Key West KOA Resort

Wow what a great camp ground. It's on the plus side of cost but they do give you the works. Very nice sites. Very nice pool area. Baths showers very nice. The abundant amount of staff are ALL very helpful and friendly. We only stayed 4 nights, wished we could have spent more. We will definitely look into the KOA again next year.

It was hard to get a great idea of what the Sugarloaf Hotel at KOA would be like in advance as so many reviews were from campers. We were so impressed! The hotel feels brand new! We are a family of five and had a kitchen, living room with pullout, bunk room, bedroom and bathroom in addition to a huge balcony with seating and readily available parking right under the building. We were on the second floor and took the elevator for baggage and steps otherwise. Having the washer and dryer in the room was so handy. This resort is fantastic for families. Every one was so friendly and nice. The vibe is was so laid back. The service at the bar, cafe and store was impeccable and personable and the kids loved the food. The prices were beyond reasonable for food and drinks. Where can you get a $3 cof

Beautiful RV resort, however as we recently sold our motorhome, we stayed in the hotel. It was comfortable, clean & had everything we needed. We were in a 2 bedroom, 1 with bunks. Kitchen included full fridge, stovetop & dishwasher. A full size washer & dryer was also in the unit. Furnishings were clean & comfortable. Balcony was spacious with a high top table/chairs & a 2 chair seating area. All staff we came in contact with were friendly & polite. Walking around the RV resort, found the grounds well cared for, lots were spacious, foliage was plush. Highly recommend a stay at Sugarloaf KOA whether Rv’ing or staying in the hotel.

We have stayed here for several years and love the area. When we are in town for work, we like being a distance from all the Key West crazy...this spot fits the bill! We have stayed in the Hotel Suite both times on our visit. The rooms are very clean and well appointed. The front desk always seems a bit annoyed but maybe that's just a FL thing lol...The overall experience here is wonderful. Amenities are great and the location is on point! Will continue to refer others here.

Sugarloaf Key Key West KOA Resort was our 209th stop and we stayed for 10 days as our launch to Key West and other adventures. We booked this highly desirable resort a year in advance! The park is easy to access—just an easy turn off Route 1, with check-in immediately on the right after turning into the park. The staff were truly top-notch; they were super friendly, quickly oriented us, and even had three team members skillfully guide our large rig into the tight spot. This is a true resort setting with beach access, a marina, tropical landscaping, an excellent pool, hot tub, bar, and cafe. Our specific site was luxurious, featuring pavers for a patio, a 4-setting table, two Adirondack chairs, and a fire pit.
