Sugar Sands Campground

We stayed for the first time on Memorial Day weekend, we had a great time. Ms. Donna is amazing, she goes above and beyond to make your stay a good time. Was really pleased with it, we will definitely be back. Loved being able to just relax and watch the kids having fun swimming and fishing. Look forward to our next visit, hopefully soon.

This place has potential. There are new owners trying to breathe life back into the ol campground. At one time it seems to have been a nice place, but seems the previous owners ran it into the ground. We tent camped there, and was offered other areas to camp that had better shade and less puddles. All part of tent camping! It was such a good time. Close to the coast, but far enough from everything to get away. First time camping in Mississippi, the humidity was horrible, but it was still a good time away! I look forward to seeing what these new owner do to the place.

Donna goes above and beyond for our group. Our second year. Tucked away from city lights, this campground has what we love, beautiful views, peaceful quiet nature, a beach and creek to kayak, clean bathrooms, gathering place for us to mingle in inclement weather, nightly campfire circle, pull throughs with full hook ups. Just 6.5 miles north of Interstate 10 at Exit 57. Great for overnight, but, you may decide to stay longer to relax and enjoy the creek.

Donna, the owner makes this campsite very nice and friendly. She is fixing up this little hidden gem. It is a work in progress but what she has done is good. We would like to go back during the summer when the water is warmer. She was very nice and accommodating. And we'll go out of her way to help you out. Thanks again, we will be back!

Absolutely amazing host I think her name was Donna! She’s the real deal we are buying season passes to continue going loved the live music and no drama at all!! Very clean and very family oriented! 5 star for the memories! 5 stars for the service we received amazing new and I would suggest it to any family!! Thank you Ms. Donna we had a great time and the band guy was great!!
