Subiaco Coury House

We used a conference room that is normally used as a bridal suite when they're getting married at the church. There were two bathrooms a full size refrigerator and a little sink and a really big room. We had plenty of room to get ready. The room was really clean and it was really nice. But just a heads up if you are in fact using it like we did as a bridal suit, you might want to bring a mirror. I bought one on the way there when I found out my daughter could not see her full self.

We took the Pig Tail l highway from Fayetteville to Paris, AR then 5 miles out of town to the Subiaco Abbey. Lovey self guided tour. We arrived in time to sit in on lunch time prayer with the monks which begins at 11:45 and last only 15 minutes, what a blessing. We are not Catholic but enjoyed it very much. The church & grounds are so beautiful. For history, for architecture or landscape architecture; it is worth a visit. On Saturdays their brewery is open. The monks also make candles, soap and hot sauce!!

I come here for still ness. Rates aren’t bad. But Catholics really have a value for retreats and places that are affordable for prayer. I was raised in a Protestant tradition but now only follow Jesus. I love my orthodox and catholic brethren. This place is peaceful.

Beautiful campus and wonderful customer service. We stayed at the Coury House for a workshop and it was clean and neat with lots of outlets for phone chargers, etc.

Very nice Abbey and the church is beautiful. The room is very comfortable as well as the food is very good.
