Styx River Resort

If you like nature, the river, or fishing, as we do you will enjoy this resort! It's January so the outside pool is closed but the inside, heated pool is open. The staff have are pleasant and ready to help you with any need they can help you with. Come see Carl for a full view of the natural surroundings and available options. No pressure.

Nice place and very friendly. Downside is that it is impossible to resell membership. We are old and have sold our camper. Customer service is very good, but you pay for that. Would look for membership on resale market as can be bought for much less.

Enjoy visiting this place! My family and I have been members for over 20 years. Due to many reasons, we have not visited for a while. Although we didn't see many improvements, the place is still peaceful. My kids love the Friday night BINGO and the indoor pool is perfect in this cold/warm weather. Due to not being able to visit often, we did not upgrade our membership and unfortunately we cannot choose which cabin to stay but it's ok. It just makes us not visit more often. We do like being there.

We travel full time and our Ocean Canyon/Venture Out members. We've stayed in countless campgrounds, including all of the Ocean Canyon and a few of the Venture out parks. This park is by far the worse. The staff can rarely be found and they have NEVER answered the phone when we call. Once there was a couple yelling/fighting and I had to go all over the park to get someone to handle it. We stayed here about two months and never did the bathrooms or washing machines work. Nothing was being done to fix it. During our stay the gate broke and instead of fixing it they just got rid of the gate. There was a problem where sewage back flow started to happen in our spot so we got someone to look at it. He did nothing. They next day someone finally is dealing with it and currently can't fix the probl
