Phenomenal location with east & southeast views. Sunrise!! Comfy dorm like atmosphere. Sauna and trails right on site. Firepit. Terrific owners/operators. We enjoyed our 20 person group stay in August tremendously. Will have to consider a visit for Nordic skiing in winter!

Do you like elevation in your XC skiing on beautiful groomed trails? Has a mix of it all, but no rollers or large flat sections. No trail fee, but definitely donate what you're able to keep the groom. And, best part, if the day allows (check conditions on the website) dogs are allowed.

Beautiful nature and good trails. Went XC skiing and had a great time. Conditions were a bit icy but manageable.

An excellent place for skiing! The description on the website is 100% correct — there was lots of snow and excellent conditions even after spring had arrived at lower elevations.

First off Google maps has this places location a bit down the road. You have to drive a 1/4 - 1/2 mile further up the road to get here. There is a second larger lot that is closer to the trails above the smaller lot with the sign next to the old barn. I would recommend parking there as you don’t have to negotiate a steep hill from the get go. I took my 5 year old son up here and we had a blast. The trails were not groomed which made them a little challenging. It did make for some good technique practice that is harder to do at the immaculately groomed resorts. The woods are absolutely beautiful and the area has a very rustic charm that is hard to beat. I would love to come here again and ski and explore further into the woods. They have quite an extensive network of trails.
