Studio 6 San Antonio, TX - Fort Sam Houston Area

Absolutely terrible representation of the Studio/Motel 6 franchise. I'm a disabled Veteran traveling across country with a service dog, and was told numerous times that the accomodations were "full" and that we "had to stay" on the second floor(no elevators). There's constantly super bright and inconveniently placed lights that remain on during the day. Additionally, there are no easily accessible public features if you're walking(gas, lite grocery etc). It is RIGHT on the freeway so good luck with sleep noise. The staff stay locked in the office and provide no additional towels, toilet paper etc. if you have the means, ignore this motels below average prices, because the headache and overall mental health deterioration is NOT worth it.

To start,|This might be the shadiest motel I have ever stayed at. To start my review, I arrived at the property at 3617 PanAm Expwy, and my booking couldn’t be found. I had to go through an entire rebooking process. I get into my 1st room (235), and the air conditioner was not working at all. (maintenance arrives and tells me that I shouldn’t have been placed in that room because of the AC’s main board being broken. So the front desk begrudgingly places me in the 2nd room (244) which is infested with roaches, spiders, and ants. At 1:00 when I realize the level of infestation I was then moved to a 3rd room. (227). Which has a noisy AC, huge holes in the comforter, and a sticky floor. The front desk, might be the rudest people I have ever met; (And im from up north), so it thre

Don't believe what is purported online, there are no kitchens, just a dirty microwave and a small fridge. This place has absolutely no place to hang your clothes. There are large bolts sticking out of the wall about 2", maybe that's where you're supposed to hang clothes! Also, good luck finding a convenient wall plug to charge devices. Next time, I won't pay for a room until I see it. I'm in San Antonio for work and waiting for my place to be ready and my furniture to arrive. I paid for a week based on the website photos, but will be moving elsewhere at week end!

I’ve been staying here for a few weeks before transitioning to my new place. Not the fanciest (it’s a motel), but the room is great for the price. It’s better than some of the other motel 6s and other low price hotels. The bed is comfortable. The room is extremely clean and there have been zero bugs. You can hear the noises from the I-35 when it’s busy. It’s been pretty full regarding occupancy, yet it’s still pretty quiet otherwise. Very pet friendly, too.
