Strick's Family Campground

Came up here for the weekend to meet some old friends. The staff are absolutley friendly and will answer any questions you have. The campground has a play area as well as a dock and loading ramp to the river. It is a full hook up service. Some of the sites are pretty tight and consist of permanent campers. It is very quiet and there is hardly any traffic. If you are looking for a place to get away and relax, this is your place. The bath house is very clean and the sites are level. I would definitely recommend this place. I would like to come back in the summer when the fishing is good.

Awesome campground with full hookups, pull through parking, shade, river access, and just minutes from Elizabeth City! The staff was wonderful. We can’t wait to visit again!

People are friendly, quite place to rest. Bathroom clean. Nice owner, willing to help in, anyway.

This little about 25 sites campground is situated amongst tall trees and has a beautiful view of the water. Not exactly sure what the river’s name was but the whole setting is beautiful. They had awesome wooden swings at the waters edge where we sat and enjoyed the afternoon. Bob, the owner is just the best. Friendly and always ready to help in any way necessary. The showers were very clean which is huge for us as they are NOT ALWAYS THAT WAY EVERYWHERE! Clyde and Peggy were his helpers in the office and around the park also were kind and helpful. I would go here again in a minute. Price is fair at $45 a night. Thank you to the entire staff at STRICTS For a very nice 3 days stay..

Old man on the phone was absolutely nasty. When I said 70 dollars a night was kinda high and abruptly said “ we don’t want your business. If you can afford a 40’ 5th wheel price shouldn't matter.”
