Customer Reviews
The room is very basic. No blackout curtains, no microwave, and no refrigerator. They do have a simple coffee machine. The beds are squeaky spring mattresses. I really didn't like their old heater, it's very noisy and it kicks on like every 10 minutes. It's impossible to sleep without ear plugs. There is a restaurant on site. I did try their burger and it was good. The kids enjoyed their pizza but the chicken in the Caesar salad was dried. As for breakfast, it was good, nothing special.
Made a 1 night reservation by phone directly with owner Judith. She was very friendly and personal, providing nice details about her accommodation and restaurant. The location and surroundings were beautiful.||I was greeted out front by a staff member when I parked as I arrived way too early to check in. I was offered a meal after meeting the chef, then Judith came out to welcome me.|Will definitely return here.
A+ people. We got stuck in the snow midway between Leland Snowplay and Strawberry Inn. Insurance could not find a tow company to come due to the snow and one local tow company made us pay and then did not even assign a driver an hour later (and eventually said they couldn't come same day). We called the listed number for Strawberry Inn and the owner Judith along with Joseph coordinated to have someone find a 4x4, remove snow from it and then come and help us (without asking for anything)
Great hotel and restaurant near Dodge Ridge ski resort. Stayed 2 nights and the room was very nice. Great restaurant overlooking the river. Has a nice bar area with pool table, foosball and karaoke. Definitely would recommend!
The location is a hard to get to, mediocre ski resort with a decent amount of snow. The service sucked, the people/staff were extremely rude, and the rooms were moldy (especially the toilets) and had bedbugs. They spied on our room everyday to see if anything was even remotely different, for which they would charge you. Way overpriced since they have a monopoly on the area, one star on everything.
