Strawberry Crossroads Recreational Event Center & Camping

We booked a last minute trip to save on commute time for kids sporting events and had an amazing experience. Exceptional hospitality and prompt response time made this an easy win for a busy family. Great pricing and not far from local attractions like sports complexes, beach, etc. The kids wanted to stay longer so we’ll be back next week!

I strongly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet country setting but only minutes to the beach or shopping in Salisbury MD or Ocean City MD. TJ is a great guy and he goes above and beyond to make sure that you enjoy your stay.

Great value and an ideal location just off of Route 50. Bathrooms were clean and plenty of hot water to clean off from the ocean and tent camping. The setting is basic, but it appears they are developing the property bit-by-bit. I plan on staying here in the future, either by tent or cabin.

This weekend there was a motorcycle event going on. Motorcyclist were racing and yelling because driving out meant slowing down their racing. Barely left the property and had to be hyper vigilant due to having a child playing outdoors with the irresponsibility of these motorcyclist. Manager was rude and condescending simply because the motorcyclist pay more. They did not ask if anything was wrong on our end. Will not be returning again and will not recommend to anyone. So much for finding a place, I thought could be a fun family tradition going forward.

A perfect campsite experience This campsite had everything you could ask for; beautiful lake views, spacious grounds for camping, sports, and relaxing by the fire. The campfire areas were well set up with plenty of wood, and the host was exceptionally kind, even delivering wood with his friendly dog. Bathrooms were clean and well-maintained, and the whole place struck a great balance: close to the beach, yet tucked away enough to feel totally secluded. Wide open fields made for amazing stargazing. Truly one of the best camping spots we’ve visited; peaceful, well-kept, and thoughtfully managed.
