I needed a bed and a shower, pulled into town, saw this place and called. Rob was so kind making sure I had what I need. I'mma come back and try charter fishing next time! Thanks again, Rob!

My friend invited me to go charter fishing and I didn’t know what to expect. We stayed in a 2 bedroom cabin with a view. The place was very clean and comfortable. Captain Rob is awesome. He did a great job making sure we got what we came for and took the time to stop at different beautiful areas for sight seeing and wildlife photography. I got to see Orcas, a couple whales breaching, sea lions…from a safe distance of course. I came back with an extra large cooler full of fish. Rob is super funny with a don’t mess around attitude (hey, he’s responsible for our lives and safety while out there.). He also has a big heart. He helped me through being seasick the first day and loosing my phone the next day. I was embarrassed and felt completely stupid but he made me feel better and

The casual yet always willing and able to help or advise is what I liked most about my time here. The man who runs this place is truly stellar, making my stay here the most relaxed I have ever been. I loved spending time doing more than fishing. I saw things that I had not seen since childhood. Thank you for helping my stay be stellar!

Went on 2 day fishing charter with Rob and it was an incredible experience. Rob took the time to show us some sights and look for wildlife (sea lions, whales, seals) on top putting us right on the fish both days! We limited out on coho salmon and rockfish the first day then limited again on halibut, ling cod, rock fish, and coho salmon the second day. Rob is the best and I would recommend Straitside charters to anyone!

Rob and Yvonne are very welcoming and friendly people. The place is nice and laid back. A comfortable place to sleep when you're tired from reeling in all the fish Rob sets out to find for you on his charter boat. It was a great time and we're now making this a yearly trip.
