Stowe Meadows

We loved our 3 night stay at Stowe Meadows B&B! Caroline and Erich were two of the most hospitable and genuinely friendly hosts! Our accommodations were lovely and so comfortable, the views were amazing and breakfast each morning absolutely delicious and plated beautifully. Caroline and Erich also gave wonderful restaurant, shopping and sight seeing recommendations. They want their guests to experience all that Vermont has to offer! We now have new friends in Vermont and we hope to return!!

Staying here is like staying with family - which you kind of are, since it's Caroline's and Erich's home! Caroline was a huge help before we even arrived - with itinerary, drives and restaurants suggestions, and timing. We ended up arriving quite late but Caroline insisted it was absolutely no problem. We were able to "upgrade" to the master bedroom suite after a last minute cancellation. We enjoyed the private porch, the massage chair in our room, 2 sinks, 2 toilets, and 2 person shower. Breakfast is served at 8:30, so if you want to sleep in, I do NOT suggest this room. It is right off the kitchen/dining area/living room. The smell of bacon and the clink of silverware and the voices of the other guests will wake you up and lure you out...We enjoyed the fruit, fresh yogurt, and hot entree

From the moment we walked in, Erich made us feel completely at home! We met Caroline at breakfast the next morning and found her to be equally warm and hospitable! Breakfasts were delicious, activity recommendations were spot on, and their home is just lovely! We made several stops on our trip through both New Hampshire and Vermont. Our experience at Stowe Meadows made Stowe, VT, such a highlight. We wholeheartedly recommend this bed and breakfast!

Stowe Meadows and Caroline and Erich deserve more than 5 stars! They were incredibly friendly hosts who cooked an amazing breakfast every morning and had spot on recommendations for things to do and restaurants to visit. They became like family in just three short days! Their home is so beautiful, and just far enough in the countryside to give you peace and overwhelm you with the colors of the fall season. Their recommendations from visiting a local waterfall, riding electric bikes on the Lamoille Valley Rail Trail, driving up to Smugglers Notch, taking the Stowe Gondola Skyride or visiting Sticky's Maple Works were all home runs. Our experience in Stowe was actually much better than our visit to Woodstock, VT and was the highlight of our New England fall foliage tour. You can't go wro

I couldn't ask for more The home is clean and bright and the views are wonderful|we got excellent advice on getting around and places to hike. |There is a warmth and caring here and we knew that things were taken care of in generous and proficient way|The breakfasts were better than I could ever have imagined. The experience here was almost life changing.
