Storybook Cabin

We've lost count of how many years we have been staying at Storybook. We stumbled upon the site several years ago after we got our first dog, as it is difficult to find a vacation rental that allows pets. We love the cozy cottage, love the access to the river and LOVE that we can spend our vacation with our dogs (now two). The owners are very responsive and answer questions quickly. The cabin is well stocked and well maintained...complete with a recent renovation. Go to unplug and unwind by the fire or on the porch in one of the adirondack chairs.

My family has been going to the story book cabin for 8 years! There is a reason that we choose this place for our vacations.....lots of reasons.....first of all, it is clean. Anything that you need is there. We literally just bring food. There is no WiFi and no phone service. Before you gasp, hear me out. We are on vacation. I don't need WiFi or my cell phone when I am hanging out in the quiet of the cabin with my kids and husband and dogs. We dont get this kind of time together often. Our dogs are welcome there. We let them run without leashes all week....it's their vacation too! Bring a hammock and a good book to read on the porch.

Lovely cabin within walking distance to the river. We found the cabin to be clean and cozy!

One of our very favorite places to stay! The owner's are absolutely wonderful and the inside of the cabin is absolutely adorable. Highly recommend!!!
