Nice, quiet campground, especially for only $15! Very clean outhouses, too! Beautiful place!

Nice campgrounds next to the water, bathrooms can get pretty nasty, flys were bad, and the wind can get pretty strong..we had a family of 31 everyone had a blast

Camping is CLOSED and definitely NOT FREE! Info online was WRONG. We pulled in late, only to find that camping is closed during the winter. I was too tired to drive 30 minutes back to the 5, and hoped it’d be okay to pull off to the side and just sleep in our seats for a few hours, since it was only a couple hours away from technically being “day use” but we were soon yelled at by a shockingly rude and disrespectful ranger/staff. I realize people have different definitions of “camping,” and I understand that maybe he has to do his job and tell us to keep it moving (we didn’t try to argue at all) but I was honestly dumbfounded by how weirdly aggressive and demeaning he was, especially for being a man in uniform representing our USBR.
