Stonehaven Retreat

Went for a buddies wedding and it was the most beautiful house very well maintained and clean!! Plenty of room for guests to gather, and a perfect location for amazing photo opportunities! Absolutely amazing, so happy we got to go and enjoy life out in the woods!!

Absolutely beautiful location! My husband and I had a small intimate wedding on Halloween, and Stonehaven was perfect. The directions sent by the owner was clear and accurate (even at night in the rain). The road is only wide enough for one vehicle and has a few potholes, but if you go slow it's easy. There was enough space for 5 vehicles to park (3 large trucks and two cars), I'm sure more could fit. The rooms were a bit confusing online when reading the listing, but there are 4 total bedrooms; sadly I forgot to take photos during our stay. The downstairs has a large fully stocked kitchen and massive living room. The first bedroom, half bathroom , laundry room and garage access are also on the first floor. Great place for an elopement! We have photographed there several times now and had some nice backdrops! Parking could be expanded!

Stayed for three nights recently. Very spacious and clean with a full kitchen. The stairs to the second floor are very steep, thus hard to navigate. The stairs in the turret are worse; there are two flights and a ladder to get to the top. I personally did not opt to climb the ladder, but others in our party did, and said the top was cool. House has a very long gravel driveway with large pots, and the road to get to the driveway is also, windy/hilly/gravel. I recommend coming in from the south side, and not the north side.

This place is so affordable & chic. Awesome for a small intimate wedding, family reunion, or book club getaway. The house weathers all 4 seasons and has plenty of great amenities. The beds are some of the most comfortable ones I’ve ever slept in.
