Stonefire Motel & Lodge

Stayed here twice, will stay here again if we're ever in the area. Very reasonable prices; Room was ready for check in by 9am. Pet friendly. Indoor facility for cleaning fish and birds included with the room, very nice to use when it's nasty outside. On our last trip, dog got sick so we had to leave 2 days early. I was in a hurry to get the dog home but Mark caught up to me just before I left to refund me 2 nights; totally unexpected and very thankful.

Called up to book a room and the guy on the phone acted like it was an inconvenience to speak to him or stay there

The perfect on-a-budget fishing lodge. We had 5 adults and one kid in a 6 bed room. It was clean and inviting and smelled like cedar. The bathroom was big enough and was stocked with towels. Sink, shower, toilet and urinal. Full size fridge and mini microwave in the room. Medium gas grill available just outside the door. Fish cleaning station on site. Common areas indoors and out. Easy to find right on the highway. Quick access to waubay lake and other area fishing lakes. Owner is clearly focused on providing a great experience for sportsmen.

Nothing fancy but the rooms are neat and clean. Mark the owner is a great guy and he keeps updating the rooms and the motel in general. It is definitely set up for hunters and fisherman with a game and fish cleaning room and a freezer for your haul. I highly recommend it for any hunters and fisherman. It's also right nextdoor to the bait shop. A plus if you need a license or to restock.

I've stayed here several times in the wintertime. I can't say enough good things about the Stonefire. The rooms are clean and reasonably priced. There are fish and game cleaning facilities and freezers. There is a lounge with a microwave and pizza maker. It is pet friendly. It is located right in the heart of Webster, with restaurants, gas stations, and a grocery store close by. Mark, the owner, is welcoming and attentive.
