You'll come back. Great location, comfortable room and wonderful host with continental breakfast. Anne, the owner/host is a very nice person and great host. Made sure our late check in, room and breakfast were excellent. She personally called us after our flight landed late and made sure we could easily access our room given our late check in. She made sure our room was comfortable and even personalized our breakfast. Wonderful young lady that deserves lots of return customers!

Spent a couple days here in December 2025. Very cold outside but our room, The Amish Room was totally comfortable. The folk from Minnesota know how to create a comfortable environment. Great room with external door, comfortable beds and a great room heater that kept us totally comfortable. Anne, the host was wonderful. She called us when we arrived at the Minneapolis airport and arranged for our late arrival. She made breakfast at 8 am and even gave me her personal hot sauce. Wonderful lady and great host. Our external basement door pointed us straight away to the best little brewery, Sylvan Brewery. Great people and really good beers. I've been to Lanesboro numerous times but this is now our go to place!

I had a lovely room, the Grain Room. The bed was comfortable and sheets soft. Two comments: the room had a bleach smell that was quite irritating at first. It either wore off or I got used to it. I know bleach is the best sanitizer so I’m just giving this as a heads up. Second - the stairs going upstairs are very steep and not very deep. It was hard to lug bags up and down the stairs.

Your beautifully restored historic mill in downtown Lanesboro offers a unique blend of charm and comfort. The location is perfect for exploring the Root River Trail, local shops, and the Commonweal Theatre. You’ve truly crafted a memorable experience for your guests.

We (my husband and I) stayed in the Buffalo Bill suite. It was more space than what we needed for the two of us, however, we enjoyed having the suite and gave us each time. He goes to bed early and gets up early, so we each had an amazing space to be individually without disturbing each other. |The continental breakfast was above average with the local pastries stealing the show. Bobby was an amazing host for breakfast and was attentive without being obtrusive. |Overall, this was a great experience and we’re looking forward to going back!|When you go, check out the history of Lanesboro walking tour, the Visitor Center has the map and the Stonemill is part of the tour.
