I've stayed here a lot over the past 5 years. The amenities, the sounding area, the staff and the vibes are awesome. We bring our cat and she has a blast exploring the camp site. The riding is some of the best the east coast has to offer. I cant recommend this place enough.

Home of the best worst-kept secret mountain bike trails cache on the East Coast. Since this campground and lodge were taken over by the owner of Shenandoah Mountain Touring, the amenities and campsites have really improved. This has been the home of the Shenandoah Mountain 100 for over 18 years now. There are really clean bath houses on site, a playground for kids beside the main gathering area and even a new family friendly trail system right on the property that connects to the national forest. There is a picturesque swim hole and a great little country store that caters to mountain bikers / campers just down the street. There are camping spots available in the woods or in the field with beautiful views and fresh water connections conveniently located next to most sites. You can also

Excellent location to local MTB trails, plenty of space with 10 beds and lots of seating. Fully stocked with kitchen ware and linens. Fire pit out back and BBQ out front. Also, a repair stand and hose for washing your bike off.

We have a small group of friends that camps and mountainbikes at least once a year. Our group keep repeating, "This is sooo much better than camping!" The Lodge itself was great. The decor was simple and functional, unlike some of the over-the-top furnishings found in some rentals. It's the kind of place that encourages you to venture outdoors, taking in the magnificent scenery around you. It's also the perfect place to return to at the end of the day, grill up some steaks, have some beers, and just laugh with some good friends. It feels like a real home, and you appreciate life a little more when you visit. We had a great time, and we'll definitely return. P.S. - The riding was fantastic. Narrowback, Tillman West, Timber Ridge, and WOLF RIDGE!!! Best riding I've ever done, hands down. T

Such an awesome getaway. Great campsites and instant access to some of the best/challenging hiking and biking trails in the area. Lots of fun, easier trails within the campground for families and an awesome swimming hole within walking distance.
