Still Waters Resort

We stayed here two times. First time was a nice room. We were offered a package deal. We stayed a second time and did the timeshare presentation. The room was no where near as nice! It went amazing just wasnt the right time. We had actually discussed getting a timeshare here in the near future. However they offered us $150 to do this presentation. After several days and times of communication we had to dispute the charge with our credit card company. We were told we would have it before we left. Then told they would leave a message with management three different times. It's now been two weeks. Id avoid them simply because of honesty and customer service around this issue.

The room was Fantastic. This was a Christmas gift for our family. The value of the rooms was way less than what we had expected for the Brandon area. Rooms were clean, no noise from the families above us or below us. Staff was fantastic. Responded quickly to fix the fireplace for us (pilot light out). Location was fantastic. We had a room with a patio overlooking the lake.

My husband, I, and two kids booked a room for 7 days. We left Christmas Eve. They don't allow you to check in til after 5pm and it was dark trying to find our room. When I went to check in at the front desk ( I used VRBO and VRBO wont let me leave a review. ) they didn't have my reservation and stated that my reservation was cancelled and was done through Expedia instead of VRBO. It took 45 min to get checked in due to that so I highly recommend not using VRBO or Air BNB for this place. We had a room on the first floor and the put put golf was by our back porch. During the holidays they had bounce houses for the kids and my boys enjoyed it. The restaurants are pricy so we left the property to get food. During our stay the weather warmed up to the 70s and our room was in the 80s and stayed

Pros: very close to SDC and they offer free shuttle service there to and from. The drivers were very friendly Front desk staff very friendly Nice view of the lake from our room Our condo was spacious! Location was good for our needs Cons: We needed help with our tv (user error) and called for maintenance. An hour later had to call again- front desk said two maintenance men were standing there when she put the ticket in and said they weren’t busy and would be there shortly. Not sure what happened there. The hot tub area is not lit good at all. It’s pretty dark in the area at night. The jet timers are set at 5 minutes, so every 5 min you had to get out and push the button again. Biggest issue was that the condo was not stocked with anything! No paper towels, only one roll of toilet paper per

This place has the potential to be so much better with a few adjustments. It has everything to serve your basic needs. Our 3 year old enjoyed the winter wonderland in the pavilion. We stayed in building J during the first week of December with our toddler and grandparents. We booked a 3 bedroom online back in October and once we checked in, we were told it’s actually two separate rooms that are adjoining with a connecting door so there was a bit of false advertising there. The walls are very, very, VERY thin so you can hear everything your upstairs and downstairs neighbors are doing. Like, in a major way.
