Steever House Bed & Breakfast

There aren’t enough adjectives to describe the experience of the Steever House. The house is absolutely beautiful and the owners, John and Sara, have done an incredible job designing it. ||Breakfast was incredible! On our particular day we had rhubarb muffins, pumpkin spice pancakes, fruit and ham. John is an amazing cook and attentive host. ||Now for the real winner! The Steevers! John and Sara are two of the nicest people I’ve ever met. We only had a short time together but they make you feel instantly at home and like you’re their best friend. If the world had more people like John and Sara in it; life would be wonderful. ||Thanks for the wonderful memories and your hospitality!||Brent & Mary Sue

This is a hidden gem. If you ever find yourself in this area, please stay here. It is adorable, comfortable, accommodating and so enjoyable. The host is so welcoming but also respectful of privacy. Expect a full delicious breakfast and great coffee in the morning. I can not wait to stay here again! 10/10

Five stars all across the board. John is an amazing host and he is very accommodating. We were able to have our wedding on his property and he was very accommodating with everything. It is a beautiful venue to do that at also. If you are looking for a nice place to stay in the Sioux Falls area, look no more!

My husband and I stayed in the Blue room for 2 nights on our way to and from Kansas City. The house is beautifully restored and the room and bed are very comfortable with an in-suite bathroom and mini fridge in the room. There is a lovely sitting area on the second floor with views of the nice yard and a short walking trail on the property. Great healthy homemade breakfasts and good conversation with the owner, John complete the stay.

The hosts were absolutely amazing. He makes some mean breakfast, and he's very good company with lots of stories. Very comfortable. We got the attic suites, and it was super cute and cozy. The hot tubs were huge and the story about how they got the house up and running was adorable and amazing!
