Steelhead Lodge

We LOVE this place so much!! Such an amazing location on the river. It’s quiet and peaceful. Perfect for relaxing and reinvigorating yourself. We’ve stayed here a couple times, and each time has been a very positive experience: clean and comfortable rooms, easy and flexible check-in, friendly and accommodating staff, dog friendly, beautiful surroundings. Truly a unique and special place. We highly recommend!

We enjoyed two nights here while we did a a guided fishing trip. Lovely updated clean hotel with great service. The view is pretty amazing! We used the community kitchen one night and that worked out great as there is not a lot around |It might be nice if they brought in some small breakfast items like a b and b

Our hosts Jacob and Tara were so very gracious, the views of the mountains and Salmon River outside our balcony were breathtaking, the birds and wildlife were all around us, and we were close to great food in Whitebird. We ate ribeye and salmon at 1906 Brews and the owner was our chef. Fun atmosphere- an old church with a great patio.

Nice, updated rooms with a beautiful view of the river! Tara & Jake are great hosts, with lots of knowledge of the area & great knowledge of things to do in the area! Lots of nice areas to swim, raft, paddleboard, & so on. If you don't want to take advantage of the on site grill, kitchen, or fresh herbs & veggies, there are great places to eat within 10-15 min's either direction. I had a wonderful night stay! Returning will happen!

A Perfect Reset at Steelhead Lodge As a single mom who is just about to send her second child off to college, I was looking for a place to reset and start this new chapter of life with some much-needed self-care—and Steelhead Lodge was exactly what I needed.
