Such a great place to camp!!! Lots of bees, but definitely didn't take away from the experience!
Awsome camp sites and super cheap even to just stop and drive through theres some cool water falls, would highly recommend
Campground in a beautiful location right on the river. Far from the main road, so very quiet.
The waterfalls are beautiful, but the pathway down is overgrown with poison oak. So much for walking with your kids. When we stopped by, the campers left trash all over, with a filthy toilet and cigarette butts tossed all around. If I had come to stay and not just see the waterfall, I would turn right around immediately.
STEAMBOAT FALLS is so beautiful. Lovely drive from Sutherlin, Oregon. Very do-able day trip for A family even with small children. We do waterfalls EVERY fathers day, and we are still seeing new ones every year. Douglas County, Oregon as well as Coos County, Oregon have, in my opinion, have A TON of family style, day trip waterfalls and hikes that are absolutely beautiful.
