Staybridge Suites Pittsburgh-Cranberry Township by IHG

We stayed here for a night while attending a concert at Jergels (which is only about a mile away.) It was easy to take an Uber to the venue. The room was very nice and had a full sized fridge and kitchen. We were allowed to bring our dog for a fee. The room was clean. The breakfast was awesome and included. They guy managing the breakfast was very nice. We would stay here again the next time we go to Jergels.

Pros: Location Close to interstate, yet in a more country environment.| Parking – ample and convenient| Clean – suite, halls, common area all acceptably clean| Disposal bags provided in pet area||Cons: Suite’s Kitchen was extremely disappointing. One bag of decaf coffee was provided . Handle on one of the cupboards was broken and dangling. Although there were a nice supply of plates, cups & glasses, there was only one fork and 3 oversized spoons. One small pan and a skillet were the only pots/pans. Not even a strainer or cutting board were provided. Obviously the hope is you will just use the microwave. || Noisy common area: 3 TVs turned to 3 different channels, plus music playing through the ceiling speakers during breakfast and evening social.| During the whole first night

The hotel was beautiful. Breakfast was excellent. It was clean and I was super happy with the value. The bed wasn't as comfortable as I had hoped, but it wasn't bad. We swam in the pool and it was pretty chilly. The 'suite' part of our room was awesome. Will likely make this my go-to hotel when traveling to the City.

From the website and pictures, it looks like a great place to stay. However, when my mother and I arrived to our room, the floor was dirty and due to the bed being too high for my elderly mother I immediately pulled out the couch and there was something unidentifiable on the mattress (possibly mice droppings) and when I asked for a new mattress they brought one and then when they took the old mattress off there was dirt on the frame and they were going to simply put the new mattress on top of the dirt without washing it first. I had to say something for them to clean before putting it down. Then I had to ask for bedding as that wasn't in the room (It was a suite so you would think there would be extra bedding). With the exception of the beds and pillows, we load everything about this place. Sadly, the bed and the pillows were both extremely hard. We travel a lot. The beds were extremely hard compared to what you typically find in good hotels. It's a shame because The room was well appointed and a wonderful condition, it was laid out well, and the breakfast was wonderful. Indeed, everything else about the place was lovely except for the beds and the pillows. If you like a hard bed you'll love this place.
