Staybridge Suites Milwaukee West-Oconomowoc by IHG

Great location just off I-94 -- close to Madison and Milwaukee in the heart of Lake Country. Staff was amazing at this new-ish suite hotel. Many common areas to hang out with family and friends. The room was comfortable and clean (except for the bathroom -- the shower needed some detailed cleaning to remove mold and mineral build-up). The breakfast was better than most with a good selection of hot and cold offerings. The coffee was fresh ground and brewed while you wait -- delicious!

Very clean hotel and suite. The pool and hot tub were very clean as well. The coffee is amazing and is available at anytime. We will definitely be back!

3rd floor room had roaches. Cleaning staff left some nuts under the couch from previous occupant and I awoke to a half dozen roaches on kitchen counter, floors, and in cabinets. Staff did promptly move me to a different room, but disgusting nonetheless. Staff was very polite and rooms were both large and comfortable. And cheap, I suppose that’s the risk you take when you save $50 😂

We had a thoroughly disappointing experience at this hotel. Despite specifically requesting and being promised a quiet room at the back of the hotel on the main floor, we were instead placed directly next to the elevator and in front of the breakfast area, easily the noisiest spot in the building. We got absolutely no rest. The elevator ran nonstop through the night, and the early morning breakfast crowd made it impossible to sleep. This is not what you expect when staying at an IHG hotel. To make matters worse, after being misplaced by staff, I tried contacting the hotel manager to resolve the issue. The claim was rejected with no refund and no attempt to make things right — just a flat-out denial of responsibility. As a loyal IHG customer, I’m extremely disappointed. I’ll be contactin

This was our first stay in a Staybridge hotel. We usually stay in timeshare units and we were pleasantly surprised with our room. Though smaller that timeshare units it had everything that could be needed. The bed was comfortable and so was the sofa for sitting. I appreciated the desk and outlets to use my laptop. The whole property was lovely with a nice courtyard and grills for use. We were there for only 2 nights so did not get to use all the amenities. I was happy with the breakfast because of the waffle maker. Since we were there on a weekend, there was no social hour.
