Staybridge Suites Miami Doral Area by IHG

Called WAY ahead and asked if they had space for my truck and trailer. Explained it was a F550 and a good sized trailer. I would need lots of room to park. They said they had plenty of space. Arrived and there was barely any spots for regular vehicles left. Very angering and naturally I won't get a refund for a room I wasn't able to stay in. Sucks how crappy hotels are down here.

This is my hotel every time we need hotel at Doral.The front desk supervisor Fotis is always there to assist the guests. The breakfast is always a plus with many choices. Lobby and room are always clean. Sergio is another front desk that has excellent customer service. Once again big shout out to FOTIS.

Upon arrival, the lobby is beautiful! The staff at the front desk was very kind and friendly. Check-in was super easy and quick. When we got up to the room, it’s cute and quaint, however a little dated. The kitchen needs some serious love and attention as does the bathroom. There were no trashcan liners in any of the trash cans. There was one dishwasher tablet, and a little bit of dish soap. There was a remaining bit of paper towels, but not enough for an entire evening. I had to go down to the front desk and ask for more, in addition to trash liners. We had one plastic slotted spoon for cooking. Definitely missing a few dishes. If you wanted to use the frying pan and the large pot to boil water, you couldn’t cook at the same time due to the size of the stove top and burners. The hot

I don’t even want to give this place a star it’s so bad. The breakfast they reheat the food and the eggs were bad the one day you could smell it. They do not have a dinner here (not sure about lunch I had to work) the dinner is a social snack with wine and beer. If it’s something you don’t mind that’s good. The second floor smelled like human pee. The third floor smelled like smoke. The rooms do not have the kitchen needs like plates cups and cookware. The one room I was in the shower floor grades twards the door and not the drain. The doors slam so you hear doors shut all the time when people enter and leave rooms. Older property but mostly maintained. The parking lot can get full because there are two hotels next to each other. Staybridge is at rear behind holiday inn. The breakfast was fine but can get crowded. Dani at the front desk was very helpful.
