Staybridge Suites Cranbury-South Brunswick by IHG

If I could give this horrible place 0 stars I would. After driving 22 hours from SD to NJ, we get to the hotel and of course there is no one at the front desk. Had to wait there for 5 mins till someone showed up. They give us our room and when we walk into the room, the entire room was a disgusting mess. Instead of being able to lay down and take a nap after a long 22 hour drive, we had to find a local Walmart and go buy cleaning supplies and clean the room ourselves since house keeping was gone which is what the front desk told us. There were damages on the walls, doors, and all over the room. We took pictures and videos of course. The bathroom was nasty. Here is a list of things that didn’t work |Room was dirty as stated above. |Bathroom was disgusting. |We were in that room for 12 days

If i could give 0 stars, I would.. the hotel was incredibly dirty. There was mold everywhere, the sheets were all dirty and smelled horrible. I had to go and buy my own pillows and blankets to be able to sleep there. There was nobody ever on reception, you had to wait at least 5 minutes for someone to show up. The dishwasher was not working and after asking to fix it nobody came for a few days… absolutely horrible experience

This hotel was disgusting! The entire 3rd floor hallway smelled like cat urine! It was so strong I asked to be moved to another room and was told no due to nothing else being available. The room itself was disgustingly dirty, crumbs on the floor, dirty spots all over the bedroom walls, and the refrigerator looked like it was never cleaned. I took pictures and brought them to the front desk clerk and explained we also saw 2 bugs on one of the beds. I informed him I was canceling my reservation for the remaining nights and checked out immediately. I was not even there for two hours and the front desk clerk told me I had to pay for that 1st night even though I was NOT staying there and checked out within 2 hours of checking in. That’s absolutely ridiculous!! I could not even stay in the room,

I did wait a bit at check in as the front desk staff was away, but they posted a sign to inform so it was no big deal. Ali was great both at my check in and check out. He is very nice and acknowledged my status both times and asked about my stay at check out. The room was very spacious and had nearly everything I needed. Noise was non existent during my stay, and the breakfast was really good! Far better than most of my IHG experiences. Some areas are quite dated, but this was a very nice hotel that is well maintained by friendly people.

This place has really gone down hill. The carpet in the hallways is rippling. It’s completely stretched out and old. Our room is dingy. Everything is super old, except the beds. The pots for the kitchen were in this little wheeled wire rack that you might have in your college dorm room. Considering it’s right next to the Marriott Courtyard and Residence Inn, I would never stay here again.
