My LTC ex-husband was TDY there for few months, his girlfriend was there with him most of the time, I even had an argument with the front desk about how they just assume she is the spouse while clearly, she didn't have a military ID. No one cared about UCMJ. Now after my divorce and looking back at all the TDYs my ex had in the last two decades that I was his spouse, I wonder how many hotels inside the bases provide a place for these officers to cover their adultery. I am a real case, and it lasted for about 5 months. Another thing that proved to me that no one cares about military spouses, Wake up.

We’ve stayed in IHG hotels across the US and this is by far the nicest one of them all. We have 2 teenage kids so having a double room with a kitchenette has been a dream. Fort Belvoir’s IHG needs to be the standard across all military installations.

One of the best hotels we have stayed in! One bedroom suite was spacious, and very clean upon arrival! The rooms are very quiet which is a huge plus with kiddos trying to sleep! The breakfast is very good with several options. Every Wednesday they do a social hour with trivia and dinner. Kiddo loved the playground they have around the back, and the nicely paved path around the hotel to go walking and scooter riding! They even have children’s media room with toys, tv, computers and a ping pong table! Very kid AND pet friendly hotel. Would for sure stay here again and recommend to anyone looking in the area!

Phenomenal hotel. I was here for a month long TDY and was very thankful to be in such a great place. Rooms were large and clean, staff was so kind, breakfast was good, location convenient. Would stay again!
