stayAPT Suites San Antonio-Randolph (Live Oak)

Quite disappointed in our stay here. We book places specifically with full kitchens so we can prepare our own food. There is a kitchen with a few basic supplies but there’s no dish soap or paper towels or hand soap for the bathroom. This hotel is pet friendly. We asked the front desk attendant if they reserve rooms that are specifically for pets? If so, we wanted a room that animals aren’t allowed in. She said the 1st floor rooms were reserved for animals and put us on the 3rd floor. On the way to our room, we saw multiple dogs with their owners on our floor headed to their rooms. So pets are in ALL of the rooms and it shows. There are stains on the carpets, doors and walls. The couch was badly stained and had crumbs on it. My experience at the, StayApt in Randolph Live Oak was nothing less than spectacular!! I stayed there from, January 31, 2025 to June 2nd 2025. The room i had was clean and plenty of space for myself. The Hotels Assistant Manager, Ms. Rachel's customer service and attention to detail as well as her charming and sweet demeanor made my stay even better. I felt safe and taken care of my whole visit. I also would like to give a compliment to the following individuals of the housekeeping staff : Ms. Crystal, Mr. Ray and Ms Jackie. Their hard work , even on , Mothers Day and pleasant attitudes can not go unnoticed!! They care about us customers and make sure that we have everything we need. Coming from this, Navy Veteran I want to say , thank you all for a job well done! Respect Due.

The rooms are set up as small apartments, with medium size refrigerator/freezer, kitchen sink, full size stove and a dishwasher. We were given a room that faces Hwy 1604. Road noise is my white noise, so I got lots of rest. On our last night staying I left the room key in the room. My wife tried downloading the app, but since we did a cold check-in, we had no confirmation number. I called the emergency number and received a voicemail message with a full mailbox. I was upset and thought we would miss our plane having to wait until the next morning. Finally I gave in and called the after-hours # and a representative let us in @ 11:30 pm. She even offered to go in the office and make us another key, but I saw mine on the cabinet when she opened the door. I was very apologetic and appreciative

Staying here now for work. I will look for a StayAPT from now on. Raymond helped me get checked in and was very helpful and friendly. Good kitchen with good size fridge, real stove, microwave, coffee pot and dishwasher. Dishes and cookware included. Love the apt style. Very comfortable. Some minor wear and tare in the room but that is going to happen. Overall I love it. It is a 5 out of 5 place for a long term visit.

This place is great. We stayed a total of five nights and the only thing keeping me from a 5 star rating was the road noise on night #1. Our room was on the 3rd floor facing the 1604 construction mess and the truck traffic is laud and nonstop. We asked to be relocated and the staff were responsive and we got a new accommodation away from the road for nights 2-5. I used the gym and the laundry facilities and both were clean and well maintained. For the price, you can't beat this place. Just ask for a room not facing 1604.
