Stardust Retreat

This place is a true hidden gem for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life! We spent a weekend at Stardust Retreat and were absolutely blown away. The atmosphere is incredibly cozy; it feels like a home away from home, only better. The service is top-notch—it’s clear the owners poured their hearts into every detail. Everything was spotless and thoughtfully arranged. The peace, quiet, and breathtaking starry skies at night make this spot truly special. If you're looking for the perfect place to recharge in Texas, this is it. We’ll definitely be back!

Stardust Retreat is a real TREAT! We have stayed with Shelley at each of her properties and every one of them are high quality. ||Beds are comfortable with high end linens and her decor is so fun to take in.||Bathrooms are sparkling clean with plenty of hot water and fluffy towels.||We are self employed and when our team comes to work with us, they need a place to stay. We check first if the Loft is available. Our team loves to stay here and rave about how comfortable and quiet it is. They love to be outside in the evening and visit and stargaze. There's an incredible view away from the lights - it's so nice.||Shelley does an incredible job of hosting with thoughtful touches you would never have in a hotel experience. We loved our stay. The home is so cute and unique. The view is amazing! Shelley really thought of everything. Old school record player with records, games, toiletries, super comfy beds, everything available in the kitchen you could need. The one thing I thought was thoughtful was the big box of ear plugs available. Never know when someone needs saving from their husbands snoring! Also, there was a super cool Vegas bowling shirt in our closet. I asked Shelley if my husband could wear it into town and she totally encouraged it! So fun. We will always stay at the Stardust Retreat when we come to town.

As a native of Coleman Texas, I have not often had need for renting overnight accommodations in the area. However, I found myself, on short notice, needing to rent a room in the area, and after an online search I found the Stardust.||I'm so glad I did. We rented "the Studio" and loved it. The Studio is the downstairs unit. It has more then twice the floor space of a similar hotel room, the bed is great and the bathroom has a nice shower with a full door (not a curtain in a tub). The room was clean and quiet. They also have dual band WiFi (5g and 2.4g) included with the room and the service was very good.||The rental experience was excellent. The host clearly communicated with us regarding arrival arrangements and departure requirements. Check in was as easy as punching in the combination

Shelley was a great host! Communication was thorough and accurate which made the process very easy from start to finish. The loft is a beautiful mid century modern design that is furnished with furniture and decorative items true to the period. We were only there for one night for a quick business trip, but we enjoyed our stay and did not have any issues. We would definitely stay again on a future trip.
