Stardust Motel

This place was great! The rooms are extremely clean! The owners have been amazing. My family is from out of town and she was really helpful with giving me places to go. We have felt safe and the kids have loved being here!

Sept. 11 was Day 1 of a cross-country road trip, with my dog. After 10 hours of driving I initially drove past this nondescript small motel on US 2 in the middle of nowhere, but on a whim went back to check it out. The office was closed, but upon contacting Eileen via the Ring doorbell, she said Room 6 on the end was open, and to just go on in and settle-up in the morning. I was pleasantly stunned upon opening that door. EVERYTHING about the room was amazing, with high-quality decor and comfort. The bar next door was a bonus, with an excellent NY strip steak dinner (with baked tater and home-made chili) for the grand sum of $23.95! If you're looking for a place to stay in this part of Minnesota, do yourself a favor and go out of your way to the Stardust Motel in Floodwood!

Clean and cute! The suite was perfect for our stay. The kitchen had all the items needed for us to cook a meal. The living room was comfortable. The bed was great. Small bathroom with a walk-in shower. Very clean. There is a grocery store 200 feet away and a Speedway across the street.

Cute, cozy and quiet! A perfect stop over for weary travelers. Clean rooms, nice beds, lovely restroom with everything you need. Right on the road with easy access.

Great little place, nice and clean, and had everything we needed after a day cycling from Duluth. Eileen (owner) was very friendly and helpful with my pre-arrival emails about the best way to get there by bike. Highly recommended if you need to spend a night in Floodwood.
