Star Motel

Awful ! I will never stay again! The first room we were given, opened the door and the smell from the room was atrocious, extremely dirty, cigarette butts in the ash trays from previous guest, and burn holes everywhere. The second room was extremely dirty, blood stains on pillow cases, burn holes everywhere, and made you feel like bugs were crawling all over you. The management was not friendly at all, could not understand why we were upset and wanted a refund. On the sign outside by the highway, it read remodeled rooms. No way that was true! The Motel needs a lot of work done ASAP and I hope the management team improves as well.

Checked in for two people and the room was not large at all, but there was a flat screen TV mounted on the wall which made it very nice with the added space. The bathroom had been recently renovated and had soap and shampoo in with some not -so-large bath towels (they were large enough) and surprise, surprise there were several outlets in the room, enough for my 'puter and phone. The beds were comfortable also

They charge $80 a night and tell u to clean the room before u leave but this is what I walked into. A dirty bathroom. The people were great they just need to clean better and get new shower curtains and make sure they change out used rags.

No joke, this motel is infested with German Roaches. If you know anything about German Roaches you would know that they are the WORST kind to bring home with you. If you have to stay here for the night I recommend just leaving your bags in the car, but then again they may get robbed... So I guess I would just pay a little extra and stay somewhere else. Also, the owner only cares about himself and no one else. He is rude and inconsiderate. He allows his customers to sleep in roach-infested rooms while he goes home to his mansion. The only thing convenient about this motel is the location.

Great experience, wonderful owners/managers. Only thing I wished they had queen or king size beds cause there with my husband and its hard to get comfortable in a twin bed. But besides that it was wonderful. No problems with anything. I would recommend this motel to everyone. No bugs, no mold, very nice and reserved.
