Star-Lodge Motel & Grandma's Kitchen

I asked for a Californian CHEESE burger with a baked potato. The baked potato was not cooked all the way through. Then I got a burger with no cheese and no mayo. They only got the lettuce right. So I had to ask for cheese and mayo on the side. Then when my friend got eggs they didn't even come and charged my friend for the eggs he didn't even get. The server didn't even know what she was doing. We made it really simple for her as well. We explained how we wanted our food. Very simply. I'm sorry but wow. I literally can not believe this. Plus we were the only people there. So the server shouldn't have had a hard time in my opinion.

My steak sandwich was a slab of raw meat 1/4 inch thick encased in hard bread that was 2 inches thick. It had no salt to speak of. I paid my bill, but left the sandwich. The owner of the motel takes people on tours through other people's rooms without notice nor permission.

Food was awfully expensive three sandwiches, 2 bowls of soup, and a order of cheese curds. Almost 40.00 Plus the service was awful considering there was only one other table in there besides us. Food was good. But you really need to work on customer service

The motel leaves much to be desired...if your traveling and tired, need a place to crash for the night it works! Don't plan on vacationing here! The Restaurant serves very good breakfasts at a reasonable price. The food was good and waitress are friendly.

The room was somewhat ok, but there was no soap to wash our hands with and a wet wash cloth was laying in a clump in the shower. The bed had a fitted sheet, but no top sheet! When we called the number for the hotel their voice mail picked up, but they never called back, nor brought us a sheet.
