Good place to pull off and have lunch or a snack,vault toilet,picnic tables,grills,trash bin
Big storm took down a few trees, one across the main entrance. Park rangers were there bright and early checking on everyone and cleaning up the mess. Star camp picnic is always clean, well kept and a great place to pull over and have lunch. Restroom <basic with no water> right there. Several picnic tables, grass is always cut, never seen any trash laying around. Its a well kept, clean area to picnic at. Backwood camping at pisgah point is right down the road and one of the best spots to camp if you want to be right on the water. Great little spot and can tell they work hard to keep it up.
Star Camp has always been a favorite. Great level sites, park style grills, and vault toilet.

Bathrooms are open!! Clean and fully stocked!!
