Stable Inn Motel

It's a cute little motel and the staff is terrific. I was driving an elderly lady from Tx and this motel was the half way point. The staff allowed me to pay for both rooms over the phone because the people we were meeting got there way before me. It was just something that made my life a little easier during a hectic moment. So thank you so much Stable Inn for everything. I really enjoyed staying at this cute property.

We stayed there overnight in October 2025 and although the bed was very comfortable the room was infested with German cockroaches. The room smelt like cigarettes. We woke up with bad sniffles but that's probably from the pheromones of the cockroaches. We would have went somewhere else but it was so late and there was no more motels. The carpets look very old and the shower was very small No tub. The headboard to the bed didn't even fit the bed frame. We paid $65 x tax but it was just gross. I could not have stayed another night there.

Recently stayed there because it was close to the power plant I was there working at. Every time I tried to eat I would have to kill roaches. Very small rooms. No staff if you need anything. No light in the shower. And when you showered it smelled like sewer. Internet was so so if you were close enough. I will drive the next time from Kennett MO or Poplar Bluff MO.

I really liked it! It's cute and didn't hurt the pockets. There might be some electrical problems though. The lamp and the overhead light kept blinking/flickering. Other than that it was great.

The rooms weren't horrible - it was clean- smelled nice- good location- nice people - beds were lumpy - and the fridge actually had someones food in it - but it was just somewhere to stay for the night - no biggie! Not Horrible
