St. Froid Lakefront Cabins

We come up to Northern Maine every summer. You can't find a better place to unwind. The camps are clean and the owners are willing to work with you on anything including directions to outstanding fishing and hiking in the North Maine Woods. We will always come here for our family vacations.

Thoroughly enjoyed our 2 week stay at the St. Froid Lakefront Cabins. Between the sunsets, the sounds of loons, eagles flying overhead and starry nights it was a special place for our vacation. The owner and host Ed was very informative and made us feel very comfortable throughout our stay. The cabin was well equipped and met all of our needs.

Beautiful place to relax. The cabins are clean with fully stocked kitchens and linens. The owners are very nice. St Froid lake is extremely quite, water is very clean great for swimming, fishing, boating. Had a fire on the beach, sat back and watched the amazing sunsets.Took a day trip through the North Maine Woods, and did the Northern loop Eagle Lake, Allagash and St. John River, Fort Kent, Caribou, Presque Isle, Ashland and back up to Winterville. It was spectacular. Fishing was great and for wildlife seen a golden eagle,bald eagle,red fox, moose, deer, hare and king fishers. Would highly recommend St. Froid Lakefront Cabins for your next trip up North.We will be back.

The location was beautiful.The cabin were rustic and equipped. The bed were comfortable. The cabins screens and doors need repair. But it is worth staying here. The lake view and sunsets are incredible.

I really did like it location-wise and the views but i couldn't stay because I didn't have the proper phone service and i needed it in case of emergency calls. And the wi-fi password was unavailable and the lady in the attached cabin was of no use because she wouldn't give it to me when she had it on her wall.
