St. Croix Valley Inn

A fantastic weekend getaway. Highlights were the amazing river view and jetted tub in our room. And the FOOD!! Each day you get a breakfast request slip so you can indicate your choice of breakfast and the time you would like to be served in the dining room the next morning (room service offered for additional charge). We had French toast on one day and wild rice quiche on another. It was perfection. They have peaceful instrumental music playing in the common area which really sets the tone for a nice stay.

Cute B&B on the river. Room was excellent. Value was excellent. It was very clean and the breakfast every morning was delicious. There isn't a lot to do in Osceola, but this is a nice place to spend one or two nights while visiting attractions in the surrounding area.

The St Croix Valley Inn is charming! I love the fact that it’s historic and maintains many of the historic features. The lobby has a breathtaking view of the river and offers 24-7 coffee bar and an honor system for other refreshments. Breakfast is hot and delicious and served at your selected time. I stayed in the Birch Room which was very comfortable, cozy and private. The room has a gas fireplace heater which adds to the coziness. The bathroom has plush towels and a deep bath tub (other rooms have showers). A back door leads to a patio overlooking the river. Nothing fancy or should I say nothing like a hotel chain, which is a plus. Staff aren’t always on site so make sure to remember the key code for the main door and keep your room key, (yes, a real key!) handy.

Had a wonderful relaxing time here for our 34th anniversary!! Very clean and a wonderful hostess!!! One thing though is the TV needs replacing in the Birch room very poor blown speaker type volume. The volume is on the side of the remote. We did let the staff know. Breakfasts were light but good for this warmer weather... We really enjoyed our stay!!

We had an awesome weekend here! Staff was super nice, Roxy is quick to respond with anything you need. The cutest lobby with lots of goodies and a fun town. We will be back:)
