Stopped between Woodinville and Leavenworth for a stretch and stumbled on Squirrel Tree Resort, total hidden-gem energy! The vibe is cozy and quirky, the lunch was stellar, and Veto (the owner) was warm, funny, and so helpful. I tried the Natapoc, absolutely delicious. 😋 Perfect pit stop for great food, drinks, and a chill atmosphere. Feeling lucky? Try your hand at pull tabs for a little extra fun. Squirrel Tree Restaurant is one of those places you keep coming back to. The food is always really good, the portions and prices are hard to beat, and it has that kind of local, welcoming feel that makes it stand out. It’s been a staple in the area for a long time, and for good reason.

Welcoming, clean. convenient motel room w/really nice upgraded bathroom and comfortable beds. Great, fresh breakfast at their cute diner that was 10% as a guest. Quality coffee pods & real liquid creamer in the room was a bonus. They also have full bar and live music on weekends. It's next to a restaurant and gas station, and only a 15min quick drive to downtown Leavenworth. ||Tips & Feedback|When you first pull in there is not an intuitive front office to check-in, so follow the signs leading to the restaurant to check-in. It was a friendly, quick & efficient check-in, however, I didn't like they asked for an alternative/back-up credit card payment, as I've not experienced that before. Did not stay here, but stopped in at the bar. The food and drinks were great! The atmosphere is awesome and the bartender (Vito) was a really good dude!

What an amazing place, and incredible people working there. We met the owner, and he was so friendly and accommodating. You can tell he and his wife have poured their hearts and souls into the place. Food was delicious, and the décor is on point. Even though I'm from South Dakota, my wife and I plan on returning.
