SpringHill Suites by Marriott San Antonio Medical Center/Northwest

Excellent SpringHill Suites hotel. I pass through San Antonio frequently with family, and this is my hotel of choice. I’ve stayed over 15 times since it was remodeled. You can tell it’s an older hotel that was remodeled, but everything important is in good condition. The AC works fine, room bathroom, although small, has a proper door, and all furniture is the new models you’d expect from the brand. Staff has always been friendly, and we love the Belgian waffles they have for breakfast. It’s right beside a Target and some other stores, which is very convenient. Parking is good, though my car has been dinged on two different occasions.

Amazing experience! We came in to celebrate my brother’s graduation from the Air Force. The front desk staff are incredibly friendly and we were always greeted with a smile and a “welcome back”. The room was always tidy when coming back from the long graduation days. The location is also convenient, you’re close to many stores and quick restaurants and only a short drive away from downtown. There’s plenty of parking in the front and back. Great amenities. We got a suite and it was quite spacious. The only inconvenience was not having the travel sized lotion readily available in the room, but again, there’s a Target walking distance away and they have plenty at the front desk if you ask, and they’re more than happy to give you a few bottles. If I ever come back to San Antonio, I’ll be sure

Great location with easy access to a variety of medical clinics nearby. Check In was friendly, and easy, and early! Nice staff! Our room is large, and the layout is very nice. The bed and linens are fine. Things less favorable include: very low toilet (15”?), no clock radio (clock is on the microwave), Wi-Fi very slow, per speed test, (9 mps for both upload and download speeds), no lotion (we carry an extra little bar since we haven’t yet converted to the large bottles attached to the shower wall), and finally, the desk chair is in very poor condition, and is more like a rocking chair! Again, the staff was great, and the room was clean and spacious.

Service was very slow unfortunately. Almost missed our appointment due to it. Room was fairly clean. Otherwise, great location

We stayed one night and were very disappointed with the room. There was blood on doorway in bathroom and blood on the sheets when we pulled them back. Staff came and took pictures. They moved our room at our request but did not offer any compensation for this inconvenience. I felt pretty disgusted at the situation. Not to mention it took 20 minutes, yea 20 full minutes for the shower water to get hot. Although staff was friendly we are disappointed with the stay especially the price for what we got.
