Disappointing Stay – Not the Marriott Standard I’m Accustomed To As a loyal Marriott Bonvoy member, I chose this property expecting the consistent quality and service I’ve experienced across the brand. Unfortunately, this stay fell well below those expectations. From the moment we arrived, the service felt unwelcoming and lacked the professionalism typically associated with Marriott properties. The room itself was also disappointing. The HVAC system did not provide heat on what was an unusually cold Miami day, making the room uncomfortable. The furniture appeared worn and dated, towels were insufficient, and housekeeping did not meet expected standards. Neat and clean accomodation for 2 nights. A bit dated and can use new carpeting. Rooms can us a touch up.||Breakfast was a well rounded offering. Waffles were a hit. Oatmeal bar with all the fixings and a hot coffee bar!||Nice courtyard area with a couple of tables. Good to catch up on work or breakfast. Wifi was good.||We didn't take advantage of the corn hole, yoga, gym and small dipping pool.||Free welcome drinks at the bar, but beer was not available. Bartender was friendly. ||Malik at the front desk was awesome. Super friendly and attentive. Assisted with getting our complimentary Tesla to Wynwood for dinner. I do not recommend this hotel. Service was not good. We booked hotel in October 2025 for a cruise in January. Booked this hotel because transfer to ship was included. When we checked in woman at the desk gave us a card with info to book a ride to ship. We mentioned it was included in our stay. My wife had the voucher showing it. They said they changed to a 3rd party company for the transfer, never informed us of that,so they didn't honor it. This cost us another $100US for a 10 to 15 min ride to the ship. They offer a shuttle to restaurants near by but didn't tell us that it's only one way. They give you a $23 voucher for the bar/ restaurant they have. This place deserves zero stars! I am a loyal Marriott customer w/ a Titanium Elite status. I am astonished how Marriott allowed this hotel to become so bad! Where do I begin?...okay it all started the moment I arrived. The location is in a very sketchy area...lots of homeless roaming around. The outside of the property definitely does NOT look like the pictures on website. The outside has been let go for some time. As soon as I entered my room...the horrible musty dirty smell was overwhelming. I immediately started coughing and eyes began to water. I ended up calling the front desk and complained about the smell. The housekeeper knocked on my door and handed me a bottle of Zep disenfectant spray! I was taken back by that, but I accepted it and I sprayed the carpet and every crack and crevi
