SpringHill Suites by Marriott Miami Doral

I had a wonderful stay at SpringHill Suites by Marriott Miami Doral. The hotel was clean, modern, and very well maintained. The room was spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, making it easy to relax after a long day. The staff was friendly, professional, and always willing to help, which really made the experience stand out. Breakfast was fresh and well organized, with a good variety of options. The location is also very convenient—close to the airport, shopping, and major highways. Overall, everything exceeded my expectations. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Miami Doral area.

DO NOT BOOK HERE!! I never have had to give a bad review of a Marriott property, but now I must!! The staff was not organized, was looking at texts on their phones while we waited in line to check in. The airport shuttle service is so bad we actually changed hotels. The bathroom is dirty and I mean has been dirty for years because it’s just that bad. The water makes horrendous noises when you bathe. One bright spot it the ac works great, but it wasn’t even 80 degrees outside, so not sure what would happen if it was really hot and humid outside. The lighting in the executive suites is almost noon existent. It was a horrible beginning to a vacation! I cannot recommend enough you pass on this property!!! The property smells like mold!!!

As a frequent traveler, I find SpringHill Suites are some of the most consistently dependable Marriott properties out there. The rooms are pretty consistently carbon copies of one another from property to property and always feel both new, and extremely well done. I stayed at this property for about two weeks and was very comfortable the entire time. Big pros for me were the lobby breakfast, which was very basic - but consistently good from day to day. The lobby coffee (available 24/7) was actually good coffee which was a big bonus too. The staff was all friendly and attentive, the room was immaculate, and the free parking was *chef’s kiss*. The downsides for me were the that there was only one elevator working for the duration of the stay, and housekeeping was only offered every other day

Positive: The location, and the room space Negative: The bathroom is in front of the beds, and the door is transluscent, so when someone goes to the bathroom at midnight the clarity disturb the person that is sleeping.

The desk divider was not in our room like pictured and when we told the front desk, the person lied and said that all the rooms didn't have it and photos online were inaccurate. When we walked by a different open room, we noticed it had the divider. So book at your own risk, as not sure if other rooms have the divider or not. We ended up hanging a blanket up to use as a room divider. There was also poor lighting, broken deadbolt on door, smell of room was interesting (mildewy). One of the good things was the free breakfast and the pool looked nice. Room was quiet, even with being on the first floor. Overall was just ok. Free parking is a bonus though for sure!
