Room did the trick. There were some things wrong with room: tv did not work and staff could not fix it, a light or two did not turn on, a handle was broken to closet and you could tell the shower was just renovated because the old faucet handle was still there but was not operable. Staff did what they could by being pleasant and professional. Coffee was always available down stairs.

I have stayed at Marriott hotels for at least 680 nights in the last 7 years, so I am not newbie with staying at a Marriot Hotel. I have had Ambassador status for 3 of those 7 years. During these 7 years, I have never had my rate change, without being informed that it would be changed before this time. (1 time I was told that they needed to change my rate, but they assisted me in finding another hotel that would honor the rate that made). So I am aghast that after checkout my rate had been changed without any warning to almost double the rate. I believe that my rate changed (almost doubled) after I sent a message stating that their dryer had damaged some of my clothes and that the front desk personal was rude. I definitely would not consider the room that I stayed in #330 as a high quality

Got stuck in a room that shares a wall with the elevator shaft. Clunking sounds and electric motors all night. Not much you can do about that, I get it. But upon arrival I discovered a dime sized hole in the bathroom sink. I reported this to the front desk whom instead of having us switch rooms sent maintenance to change out the sink while we were trying to get dressed for dinner. Busy weekend, again I get it. Maintenance was at least super nice. Fast forward through a sleepless night full of clunking and motor whirring to the morning when trying to get in the shower I discover the roll away door for the bathroom does just that. Positive: Staff was amazing and location was very convenient for me. Negative: That smell in the room! It made us gag and had to open the window all the time, despite that still smelled horrendous. It smelled like somebody washed everything in spoiled milk. It was disgusting did not want to spent time in the room. Not again!!

For the seasoned traveler, avoid this property. On a whim, I chose to venture outside my normal chain of choice and give this Marriott property a try for during this two night stay. As someone that stays 40+ weeks per year in hotels, highest value is on clean, comfortable, consistent and functional. Total fail here. As others mentioned, while the property looks perfectly fine on the surface, the rooms are in various degrees of disrepair and the support from the staff leaves plenty to be desired. You might have noticed, I mentioned rooms vs room. That is no error.
