Spring House Inn

I have been wanting to try this place for a while now and decided to finally go and I'm glad we did. Check in was smooth and quick. Staff was friendly and helpful. Pool was warm and relaxing. Sauna felt great. The room we stayed in had a jetted tub and balcony. Bed was very comfortable and pillows were fluffy. When I stay anywhere I immediately check the bed for bed bugs (you never know) but all clear there and it even had mattress protector on it. The jetted tub was absolutely amazing. Plenty big enough for two people 😉 Breakfast in the morning was a great addition to the stay especially with it being free. This hotel has an old feel to it and it's own charm. We will definitely go back.

I loved this place! It felt more like a lodge than a hotel. Very open and airy. And I was delighted to learn they have a pool. Everything was clean and comfortable. They are doing some maintenance in the pool area. That's why I am giving this 4 stars instead of 5.

It’s the most beautiful and peaceful place I have ever stayed in. Trust me when I say it pictures don’t do justice, it’s way more prettier in real. The staff is so amazing, everyone I have interacted were so kind which made my stay even more better.Perfect escape from the city to experience slow days. Love it!! ❤️

My husband stayed at this hotel Halloween weekend 2025. We chose this hotel due to its location (proximity to South Shore Line for easy train ride to Chicago and to Indiana Dunes National Park) and because of it being situated in a wooded, beautiful location. We were super impressed with our stay. The staff is amazing. You can tell that everyone who works here really cares about the guests, their safety, and the upkeep of the inn. It's an older hotel, but the love and care everyone puts into it really shows. The rooms are cozy, warm, and accommodating. The water pressure in the shower is good and never runs out of hot water. The beds are cozy, comfortable, and as described. The rooms are spacious and every room has a charming, large balcony. We used the indoor pool while staying. It was
