Spring Haven Motel

I gave 4 stars on the rooms ONLY because they are small. But other than that they were very clean. They looked and smelled clean. The lady made sure I had the things I needed while I was here. I didn’t have to want for anything. There is a shelter house with plenty of grills and outdoor sink for you to use. The shelter also has electric and lights. They have a fire pit as well. All for you to use while here. The air/heat is a little tricky at first if you ain’t use to using a remote to control every setting. But it works great. There’s a fridge and microwave in the room. Along with a nice sized TV with wifi and dish network. There’s a desk and dresser and night stand. A place to hang clothes if needed. There wasn’t a tub in the room I stayed in. The room was clean. The bed was wonderful. The air was Cold. I love this hotel. I couldn't figure out the tv remote, and I called the manager. She was there in a few minutes, she showed me, what I was messing up, then she spent a few enjoyable minutes talking with us. A wonderful experience from booking through check out.

There were everywhere including roaches after dark in the bathroom along the ceiling. There were also bugs in the bedding along the mattress. The water from the show which ran red for the first couple of minutes, as it washed away caked rust and other gunk from the shower floor. The odor in the can best be described as flowers mixed with 20 years B.O. and cigarettes. It was apparent the room had only recently been hastily cleaned to mask deplorable squalor. The window sills as the were lined with rows of webs and dead insects. If you are looking for a place to stay near Spring Mill, do yourselves a favor and please avoid this motel. My wife and I are not picky people, and we had in mind to rough it; however there is a difference between roughing it and risking infestation.

A nice motel that is open year round. The new owners are updating everything. You will love the near pink refrigerator in the office! There is a nice pavilion with state park grills. The property sits back off the road a bit. We will stay again!

This is the most at home feeling motel. The new owners are very nice. The room are nice. There grills to cookout on, and you can buy charcoal from their kids... close to mitchell and spring mill state park. There is a basketball goal and kids playing outside
